Nividhu BelihulOya is a small Hydropower Plant located in the village of Ihala Galagama, Rathnapura District in the Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. It is approximately 160 km south-east of Colombo, nestled in the hills 1,000 meters above sea level. The turbines are operated with water from the BelihulOya, a major river originating in the Horton Plains 2,000 metres above sea level.

OUR SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
- The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) was able to maintain uninterrupted power supplies to the local towns and suburbs using the feed of Nividhu Power Plant during most of the power cuts were imposed on other parts of the country.
- We have made donations to various projects to uplift and benefit the local community, particularly in the fields of education, health, environmental and religious activities.
