Nividhu Assupiniella
Power Plant is a small-scale hydro power plant equipped with two Pelton
turbines of 2MW each, generating 4 MW of electricity using the waters of the
Maha Oya river.
Construction
work on the plant began in April 2003 and it was commissioned in October 2005.
The project value was LKR 440 Mn.
